Young refugees and young people from the region work together to develop a core message on a topic that concerns and moves them. From this message, a term is highlighted and from the first letter of this term, a new typeface is created - a monogram consisting of the alphabets of the respective languages of origin.

A common sign for a common idea: Red Cross on a white background - since 1864, the sign initiated by Henry Dunant has protected helpers and those seeking help in armed conflicts. Today, a red cross, a red crescent or a red crystal embody protection and help in need worldwide. However, this protective function is regularly undermined by misuse of the emblems, by ignorance or unscrupulous warfare. The exhibition uses impressive objects and posters to shed light on the development and spread of what is probably the world's best-known emblem. But the show also asks, along the lines of two current initiatives, what it takes for symbols and emblems to have an effect: "Between2Alphabets" by the artist Hoseyn A. Zadeh and a global flag project by the Belarusian opposition show how common symbols can unite and create identity.
